I BELIEVE SERIES
John 3:16

The best known and memorized verse in all the world happens to be:

John 3:16



"For GOD so loved the world that HE gave HIS One and Only Son, that whoever believes in HIM
shall not perish but have eternal life."




For GOD -



a.    Proof of a preexistent CREATOR.

b.    It is impossible for man to date the beginning of or the timeline of the origin of GOD.

c.    GOD exists.  "In the beginning" GOD.

Genesis 1:1       1 John 2:14
 


So loved the world -

 


a.    GOD is not only CREATOR of all things, but HE actively loves everything HE personally created, especially man who HE created in HIS own image.

b.    So loved - speaks of an unequaled love and commitment.  The two words So loved apply only to the One LIVING GOD.  It is impossible for any created being or thing to love like GOD loves because GOD is love.          

c.   The love of GOD is not measured out for good or neutral people only.  Not at all!  GOD loves the entire of mankind regardless of who they happen to be or become.  The life they happen to be living, or how they happen to be living up to the moment of their death does not motivate GOD'S love for everyone.

That HE gave HIS One and Only SON -

 

 

a.    It has been said that no sane individual would give up the life of his son for especially evil people.  People who spend their entire life hating the One who gave up such a holy and perfectly sinless life just for them.

b.    FATHER GOD gave HIS One and Only SON to the entire world in order to pay the sin debt of all mankind.  "JESUS is the SAVIOR of all men, especially of those who believe."


Hebrews 4:15       1 Timothy 4:10



That whoever believes in HIM -

 


a.    Whoever -  Everyone and anyone, without limitation such as race.  Since man was created he has shown a strong propensity to love and protect people that look like himself on the outside and dislike, disregard and even hate those who do not.  Racial conflict and hatred is found in all Nations.  Man refuses to love his brother regardless of GOD'S Commands.

 b.    Believes in HIM is an exact requirement, not a possibility.  Everybody, everywhere believes in someone or something.  It is impossible to be alive and NOT believe in anything at all.  Even the Atheist believes in 'not believing' in GOD!  It is only in believing in JESUS as your Personal SAVIOUR that you can be born again, receive eternal life.

Romans 2:11             1 Thessalonians 4:9

Shall not perish -


Shall not perish - Here we understand the purpose of GOD in the giving of HIS Son, JESUS to the cross.  GOD does not want mankind to perish, to spend eternity in the Lake of Fire, but to live with HIM in HIS heaven for all eternity.

 

But have eternal life -


But have eternal life - The ultimate goal GOD has for mankind.  Life for A-L-L eternity with HIM.  After death everyone has to end up somewhere.  All those who love GOD are instantly received by HIM when they close their eyes for the final time.  All those who hate GOD are instantly awakened in hell at that very moment.



Please believe in JESUS today! 


I am not talking about a Church Denomination or Religion.  Accept eternal life in HIS Name and begin a daily relationship with the LORD!  Today is the day of salvation, this moment is the moment you have been given. Don't hesitate or put it off, for by doing so, you are actually rejecting GOD'S One and Only SON.  It is impossible for GOD to show you any more love than HE already has.  Make your choice now!
