ACCURATE - theologically correct

EASY - to read and understand

THE IMPORTANCE OF BIBLE STUDY

When an individual accepts JESUS CHRIST as their personal SAVIOR, there is a strong desire within them to know the LORD with their whole heart. The best way to accomplish this is to read GOD'S Book, the Holy Bible. The more a person reads the Bible, the better they understand GODıS love and purpose for their life.

There are millions of books in Libraries and Book Stores available to read. Ecclesiastics 12:12 basically says that there is no limit in the making of books.  No matter how noble a book might be, the only completely unique and inspired book in all of creation happens to be the Holy Bible.  The Holy Bible is the only book ever written that is  - inerrant, which means:  without error of any kind.

STUDY OR DEVOTIONAL BIBLES

Study and Devotional Bibles contains notes from Scholars and promote their personal interpretations.  These notes are not the anointed Word of GOD, but the views of man.

If you plan to purchase a Study or a Devotional Bible be sure you know who wrote the Study Notes and what, if any, additional goals they may have in order to influence those who read their notes.  Not all Bible notes are written by people with pure motivations or happen to be theologically correct for that matter.

Every so-called Christian cult writes their own version of a Bible and the notes are prepared deliberately in the attempt to justify their own false belief system.

There is only one Bible where every word is anointed by GOD - The Holy Bible.  There exist several pure translations of the Holy Bible.  The main purpose of different translations has to do with the changing language trends.

Paraphrase Bibles on the other hand do not claim authenticity, or translation accuracy to the original.  The main purpose of a paraphrase Bible is to attempt to explain the Scriptures in a simplified manner.

NOTE:  It is forbidden according to GOD'S Word to add to or take away from the Holy Bible.  The penalty is eternal death!

THE STUDY OF INDIVIDUAL BOOKS

It is a good idea to begin reading the New Testament with the Gospel of John.  You would be very encouraged to read John from beginning to end several times all the way through in a relatively short period of time.  The Gospel of John presents a clear and intimate view of the love JESUS has for the world and for you personally as well.

Once you have finished reading the Gospel of John you can then move right along into your own personal Bible reading plan.
