Living your life day by day in the 'JOY' of the LORD!

Life Is Not A Bowl Of Cherries!

Welcome to Page 5 of this Article on the topic of Life Is Not A Bowl Of Cherries.

On this page we are going to discuss 1). marriage, divorce, 2). living together without being married and separation.

Fifty percent of all marriages end up in divorce.  This percentage is staggering and very hard to believe, but facts don't lie.  People regularly require one another to sign prenuptial agreements before they marry because they are confident ahead of time that their marriage is going to be temporary.

The word divorce is easy to pronounce, but it consequences are very horrible.  Every personality changes after going through a divorce, so much so, that some people go through such a period of depression that is ended in suicide.

Hebrews 13:4

"Marriage should be honoured by all,

and the marriage bed kept pure,

for
GOD will judge the adulterer

and all the sexually immoral."

More people are living together without a marriage license then ever before.  The percentage of these agreements breaking up are much larger then the fifty percent marriage divorce rate.  The emotional suffering is every bit as bad!

Examining the statistics, much more then half of all people who call themselves couples do not plan to remain with each other 'for better or for worse' or 'until death do them part'.  In your personal relationship is the back door unlocked and left open for fast escape?  If it is, lock it now and stick it out, give GOD a chance to repair the damages.  HE will, and you will eventually be glad you did.
