Living your life day by day in the 'JOY' of the LORD!

Village People!

GOD'S plan for the world brings HIS Joy to everyone, the young and old women, young and old men as well as everyone in between.

Jeremiah 31:13

"Then maidens will dance and be glad, young men and old as well. I will turn their mourning into gladness; I will give them comfort and Joy instead of sorrow."

Some say it takes a village to raise a child, but in the Kingdom of GOD, it takes the Joy of the LORD to raise the village!

If you have ever had good reason to experience sorrow, then you know how it did all it could to turn your life into a slave to it's power over your life.  In the end, it was GOD'S Joy that turned your mourning into gladness and brought you comfort  instead of sorrow.

In many cultures around the world GOD'S Joy is witnessed in the dance.  As a matter of fact, those people who show their love and gratefulness to our LORD CREATOR, know that one dance leads to another until HIS Joy flows freely among the people.  One might say; "Dancing before the LORD in gladness brings about a plethora of GOD'S Joy for all the people."

Before you fall into the temptation to believe that the dance of Joy is fine for some cultures, but a bit over the top for people like me, remember, that there is a time to dance for everyone who believes in JESUS.

Ecclesiastes 3:4

"............a time to dance"

Therefore, GOD'S plan for our lives comes to us through more than one way.  Two of these ways happen to be - 1).  Live in the Joy of the LORD each day.  2). Dance for Joy before the LORD as we celebrate deliverance from mourning and sorrow.

There are many times in life when a simple 'thank you' is far from enough when a friend or stranger does something nice for us.  Imagine looking into the eyes of the LORD each time HE performs HIS mighty wonders in your life, would you think that a simple 'thank you' is all that should be said to HIM?  Of course not, your heart is so full of love and joy toward the LORD, express your gratitude each and every time HE blesses you.

Don't hold back, let yourself go, dance before HIM, rejoicing in your freedom from mourning and sorrow.
