Because I Met JESUS!
Welcome to the article on the topic - My Life Means Something Because I Met JESUS! Not long after I became a Believer in JESUS nearly 30 years ago I was in a Christian Book Store and came across a sign that has an old man pushing a broom. The face of the man is smiling as he is doing his simple chores. It is quite obvious that he is a joyful, fulfilled man. The words above his heard are, My Life Means Something Because I Met JESUS! I immediately purchased the sign and placed it above my office desk so I would see it every day, all day long. For me, it has reminded me that no matter the task or calling the LORD has put in my life at any time, My Life Means Something Because I Met JESUS! It is very easy to feel all too important because of a position in life, or a high education. I have listened to many self important people speak down to those pushing brooms just as if that fact alone dictated the value of the individual. In GOD'S eyes, the CEO of a Corporation is of no more importance than the man HE has pushing a broom for HIM. The individual that forgets that truth may well one day loose their important position and may not be able to afford to purchase a broom or find an employer who will hire him for the job. It's not our position in life that matters, but whether or not we personally know JESUS as our LORD. The world is full of Kings and Presidents and World Church Leaders who have refused to believe or accept JESUS. In eternity, they will wish they had a broom. The purpose of this article is not to attack people, but to remind everyone that it is JESUS who is the important One in our life and we could never rise any where near HIS importance regardless of how far we climb the ladder of life. We
desperately need JESUS
to be worthwhile in any manner in our life. Don't lets fool ourselves for an
instant.
Wherever you happen to be in life today, remember that your success is not solely based on your talent, commitment or hard work, but because JESUS makes you successful.
