Faith Isn't Faith
Until We Put It
Into Practice!
Recent surveys have determined that a large number of interviewed people believe that they are Christians because they were born in the U.S. The truth is, the Country where you were born has nothing whatever to do whether or not you are a Christian. A great number of people attend church thinking that going to church makes them a fine Christian. Again, church attendance in itself has nothing at all to do with having a believing faith in JESUS CHRIST. Since these things are true, what actually determines if a person is Christian. Your answer is found in the most popular verse in the Holy Bible.
Once
a person has put their belief in JESUS, they learn to
joyfully obey
HIS Word in order
to experience a daily relationship with HIM. What we
believe on the inside and what we practice on the outside
can be radically different, and critical to our faith. JESUS
explains this principle to us clearly in the following Scriptures:
Faith isn't faith until we put it into practice. It is one thing to look at a hungry man on a street and acknowledge he is very hungry, and another thing to buy him something to eat. The existence of genuine faith is expressed in our lives in a way that JESUS CHRIST is honored in the faith we put into practice.
The next time someone wonders if we really are a Christian or not, let your practiced faith be the answer they seek. Now if it happens that you are not positive that you are a Christian, please click on the link (Your Right To Choose) below - |
