Welcome
to page 2 on the article titled, GOD'S
Never Too Late! Let's
look at a desperate prayer request - I
have been suffering with chronic illness my entire life, only to see my physical state
decline as the years pass, filling my life with more loss than i can put into words. i am
29 years old, have never been in a loving relationship, and am completely isolated because
my body is at war with my spirit. i have never blamed God for my illness, have always held
onto the hope and faith that i will be healed, but.... all i want is the chance to be
loved and to love, to be a mother, to not feel like a freak because of my illness...

While
it's obvious that this person believes that they are at the end of their rope, they need
to be reminded that - GOD'S
Never Too Late! Just
because we are convinced of something in our mind, it does not mean that what we believe is reality
from GOD'S
point of view. According to the widow in the following Scripture, her one and only
son is dead and all her love and dreams for his life are over forever! 1
Kings 17:17-23 "Some
time later the son of the woman who owned the house became ill. He grew worse and
worse, and finally stopped breathing. She said to Elijah, "What do you have
against me, man of GOD? Did you come to remind
me of my sin and kill my son?" "Give
me your son," Elijah replied. He took him from her arms, carried him to the
upper room where he was staying, and laid him on his bed. Then he cried out to the LORD,
"O LORD my GOD,
have you brought tragedy also upon this widow I am staying with, by causing her son to
die?" Then he stretched himself out on the boy three times and cried to the LORD,
"O LORD my GOD,
let this boy's life return to him!" The LORD
heard Elijah's cry, and the boy's life returned to him, and he lived. Elijah picked
up the child and carried him down from the room into the house. He gave him to his mother
and said, "Look, your son is alive!"
