The LORD gives those who love HIM and obey HIS Commands (Word) special promises for their benefit.  Isaiah 54:17 is one of HIS powerful promises for all Followers of JESUS!



Isaiah 54:17
"No weapon forged against you will prevail,
and you will refute every tongue that accuses you.
This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD,
 and this is their vindication from ME,"
declares the LORD."

 

  1. No weapon forged against you will prevail -  The devil has pre-created spiritual weapons against you.  Weapons that are designed to bring about your downfall, possibly your refusal to accept and follow the LORD and HIS plan for your life.  The GOOD LORD has provided through this Promise that HE will destroy the devil's weapons against you, and keep you free to love and obey HIM just as your heart desires.  All of satan's plans against you will not only NOT PREVAIL, but are powerless over your life thanks to GOD.

  2. You will refute every tongue that accuses you - This promise covers two separate dimensions: 

     a.    Natural -     Liars and gossips are everywhere.  Elaborate schemes are created by some to dishonor and discredit you everyway possible.  GOD has empowered you to stand in HIS Name and has given you the needed power to quiet these lies against you through prayer and faith in HIS Promises.

    a.    Supernatural - The enemy of your soul loves to find ways to torment you with fears, doubts and fake concerns.  This is often conducted though someone who makes an announcement about you that can be devastating, possibly even deadly.  Soon you will begin to have symptoms that are designed to convince you of mental, physical or spiritual illness.  While illness does exist in this world, GOD is HEALER and by the wounds of JESUS, you have been healed.  1 Peter 2:24

Your personal guarantee that these promises are for you is that they come in the following words:

This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and this is their vindication from ME," declares the LORD."

  1. Heritage - The portion or inheritance that the FATHER has given HIS children.  You belong to the LORD, your life is HIS, your future also belongs to HIM.  Eternal life began the moment you first believed in JESUS, and from that day you have been receiving the blessings of HIS Promises to you.

  2. Vindication - The LORD has granted you vindication by declaring you righteous through the finished work of CHRIST.  You have not been made a failure, just the opposite!  You have been made more than a conqueror through CHRIST JESUS your LORD!
    Romans 8:37

    When you find yourself under spiritual attack, and you will, boldly rely upon     GOD'S Promises to you.  Speak HIS Word out loud and in faith believing.  As you do, the LORD will greatly encourage you by increasing your confidence and trust in the power of all HIS Promises to you.
