To The Pain - Severe Physical Suffering:  A famous line from a movie about how an enemy is not going to end your suffering outright, but just disable and disfigure you in order to keep you from having a normal life ever again by physically paralyzing you.  This is an important Army tactic:  do not kill all your enemies outright, wound as many as possible.

To The Pain - Severe Emotional Suffering:  The loss of a job, income, insurance and retirement, the loss of a loved one more important to you than even yourself are examples of severe emotional suffering.  There exists emotional suffering that goes far beyond any medications your doctor can prescribe.

If  you are experiencing severe physical or emotional suffering, or both, it is important to maintain the 'JOY' of the LORD.  Remember, the 'JOY' of the LORD is your strength!  Nehemiah 8:10  As tough as life is, you must never surrender HIS 'JOY' in you.  The LORD has provided you HIS 'JOY' to infuse you with HIS strength, the power to live in victory!

In John 10:10 JESUS said;  "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy."  The satanic attack against you is real and never stops.   Through the 'JOY' of the LORD, you live above your sufferings and the attack is overcome!

Remember, the LORD will never give you up to your enemies.  HE will make you to always be victorious in HIS Mighty 'JOY'!  Because of the 'JOY' of the LORD working so powerfully in your life, the power of your enemy will fall to the ground before the feet of JESUS.  Romans 8:17-18  Today and everyday, live your life in the 'JOY' of the LORD!
