Welcome
to page one on the topic of Passion And Beyond! All those who believe in the Name of JESUS
are called to take up their cross and follow HIM
according to - Luke 9:23. There happens to be many
Followers of JESUS around the world that know in their
hearts that GOD has given them a great, and at times
perplexing calling. Many of GOD'S people are driven to Passion And Beyond! The
important point that needs to be made here is that there are many bad habits in a great
number of Believers. While the bad habits discussed here will not keep someone from
entering heaven, it is always best to rid one's self from as many bad habits as possible
in order to live a free live in CHRIST. For
example, smoking is a bad habit, it is an addiction to nicotine, and causes very real
health issues in a person's life. In my personal opinion, smoking stinks! (I smoked
cigarettes for more than 10 years before the LORD delivered
me from the addiction.) I used to stink everywhere I went! I
want to provide a short list of behaviors that fall under the 'bad habit' areas of living.
This is not an exercise in legalism. I clearly believe
and teach according to Scripture -'Clearly no one is justified
before GOD by the Law,
because, "The righteous will life by faith." Galatians 3:11
Today you can visit a local
movie theatre and notice large numbers of
Christians coming out of or going into R Rated movies or other movies with numerous scenes that include
dozens of occurrences of cursing which often include the Name of the LORD,
or sexual perversions and innuendos.
The
last time you went to eat at a restaurant it's very likely you noticed
Christians drinking alcoholic beverages with their meals, and that may well have included
Clergy. It seems that in these last days there is an active callousness of avoiding
the appearance of evil. One drink, two, three, possibly more with the excuse; "Just as long as I don't get drunk."
Two
Believers dating that frequently kiss intimately, touch one another in inappropriate
places, make out and or have oral sex with one another happens to be very common today. Many
people justify
their sexual familiarity with comments like; "At least we never have
intercourse!"
Wherever you
go you can frequently hear Believers say things like; "Oh my GOD!'
'Oh my GOD." And then there are those who say;
"Oh GOD!' when they are happy or excited.
Taking the Name of the LORD is vain is still an unacceptable
practice according to the Scriptures even if these utterances may be socially
acceptable.
If you are convinced in your heart that GOD
would have you live a life set apart from the mainstream, don't feel self conscience
or that something is wrong with you. Neither are you better then another
Believer who lives a life more socially accommodating regardless of biblical
understanding. Give thanks to GOD for HIS
calling and anointing in your life, and live the spiritually passionate
life HE has called you to.
