Romans 8:29,30

(29)  For those GOD foreknew HE also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of HIS Son, that HE might be the firstborn among many brothers.
(30)  And those HE predestined, HE also called; those HE called, HE also justified; those HE justified, HE also glorified.

GOD foreknew and also predestined all Followers of JESUS -

1. GOD foreknew you before time began, before HE said; "Let there be light."
   
   Try to imagine just how special you really are to GOD, and if you are special to GOD, you are a special person.  In this case, special is VERY SPECIAL, UNIQUELY SPECIAL!
   
   

2. GOD predestined you to be conformed to the likeness of JESUS -
   
   GOD'S actions have nothing to do with you being a good person or anything you would have or did.  Some people say that the LORD predestined those to eternal life that HE saw doing and or acting in worthy manners.  This could not be!  If that were the case then you would have something to do with your own salvation, as well as being responsible for remaining a Believer through your own works instead of GOD'S grace.
   
   No human is worthy of eternal life, only GOD can save and only the death of JESUS CHRIST was perfect enough to take away sins.   It's not possible for you to know why GOD predestined you to be conformed into the likeness of JESUS, but it is clear that you need to thank and praise HIM for the gift of eternal life.
   
   

3. GOD also called you - 
   
   When you think about who called who, it comes to mind that man should call the LORD.  The fact that GOD called you is a beautiful mystery.
   
   Here's an idea, think of it this way - 
   When the phone rang, the telemarketer was the HOLY SPIRIT.  HE offered you guidance and enlightenment in order to accept the gift of eternal life by believing in JESUS.  Even answering the phone came from HIS prompting, and HE did all the work.
   
   

4. GOD justified you -
   
   The list of (impossible for man) blessings just keeps on rolling along.  It was impossible for you to justify (make your life perfect, without sin) on your own, regardless of any or all of your good works!
   
   The LORD did not find the act of justifying you to be a problem for HIM.  Everything JESUS did on the cross was more than enough to make you clean before HIM.
   
   

5. GOD glorified you - 
   
   The work of JESUS on the cross also made the way for you to be glorified.  As a matter of fact, you are already on your way to your FATHER'S House where your glorification will be finalized and the day you stand face to face with the LORD.  Everyone who loves the LORD and obeys HIS Commands are already Heaven bound!
