Smoking
Wanna Quit?
Page 1
The purpose of this Article is to help you realize you can: Quit Smoking in less than 7 days. This Article is for the person who wants to quit smoking.
Although it has been proven that nicotine is extremely addictive, there is hope to the person who wants to quit smoking but does not seem to be able to give up their dependency on nicotine.
The answer is; "Yes, of course!" Smoking has nothing to do with a person's Eternal Security! GOD has provided a means to deliver HIS children from the addiction of nicotine. HIS plan does not require 5,10, or 12 Step Programs, patches or pharmaceutical drugs. The LORD will, through the power of HIS Word,
activated by the faith of the seeker set those free who want to be free from nicotine addiction.
The purpose of this Article is not to pass judgment on people who smoke but to point the way to the LORD'S plan of freedom from the addiction of nicotine. Some Christians says that smoking is a sin and treat Christian's who smoke as 'second class' citizens. One man had witnessed to his neighbor about how much JESUS loved him and that HE had died for his sins. After several years of sharing the gospel with him, his neighbor finally decided to go to a local Church on a particular Sunday Morning. He tells of how he observed carefully the Service and actually liked his first and only experience with the LORD. After the Service, walking through the parking lot on his way to his car,
this man lit up a cigarette. Before he could unlock the door to his car, two Ushers from the Church stopped him and told him; "We do not tolerate your kind of behavior in this Church. Never come here again if you are going to smoke anywhere on Church property, besides, you are a horrible witness!" The man never has gone back to any Church ever again to give his attention to a GOD who hates people who smoke! It seems as though some Christians believe they are called to judge other Christians for activities that they call sin.
